About Me

I grew up in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, where my fascination with technology and psychology first took root. At a young age, I was captivated by the potential of technology to transform lives and the complexities of the human mind.

My journey took a significant turn when my family relocated to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, during my childhood. Immersed in a new culture, I discovered the importance of adaptability and resilience. Despite the challenges of adjusting to a new environment, my passion for technology and psychology continued to flourish.

In high school, I actively pursued my interests by participating in projects that allowed me to merge my passions into meaningful endeavors. Additionally, I volunteered with organizations dedicated to supporting young women of color in S.T.E.M fields, fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for their growth.

Transitioning to college amidst the COVID-19 pandemic presented its own set of challenges, but I remained steadfast in my commitment to learning and personal growth. Upon completing my associate's degree in psychology, I realized the importance of expanding my knowledge in STEM disciplines.

Currently, I am pursuing certificates in both IT and marketing, delving deeper into the world of technology while honing my skills in strategic communication. My experiences in a STEM internship have further enriched my understanding of the field and reinforced my dedication to making a positive impact.

Throughout my journey, my motivations have remained constant: to give back to the community that supported me and to honor the inspiration provided by my family. Their unwavering belief in my potential drives me to continually strive for excellence and to seize every opportunity for growth.
