These are my professional goals
My name is kirk, I am currently working as a bicycle mechanic, and I am looking to move into a career in software development with more cumulative learning and growth potential. I am in the full stack development certification program at north seattle community college. I hope to grow my technical skills, grow my network, and participate in an internship program with a mid sized Seattle based company in order to get exposure to the kinds of work and roles available within the software development and data analytics fields.
These are my passions
I enjoy art and design, and have my BA in economics and visual arts. I have a passion for creative solutions, and I love making. I have been cycling for recreation and utility since I was very young, and have bike toured throughout the US and Canada. I have a particular affinity for early mountain bikes and making things work that really weren't originally intended to work together. I am interested in pursuing robotics as a hobby and further developing my bicycle frame-building and fabrication capabilities as well as my detail and paint work.
