Joshua Gilbert, In The Flesh

Hello, my name is Joshua Gilbert. I have been living in Seattle for about 10 years now. I am originally from Tazewell Virginia. The US Navy brought me to Washington state via Oak Harbor. This is my second quarter at North Seattle College. I am a father of six, and besides serving in the US Navy, I also served in the US Air Force. Most of the jobs I have held after the military have been as a boat mechanic, and in food service. I have always been interested in web design, hence the decision to pursue it here at NSC.

My Interests

My interests iclude photography, building simple electronics, graphic design, video games, and spending time with my children. I have alsways had an interest in building web pages, and this is now my full time interest as well. Hopefully my love for photography / videography can help push my ideas for web design into something great. I am also very interested in learning how to become a better person each day. Society is slipping, and its up to us individually to help make this world a btter place :)
