League of Legends has crests that are shown to you based on your rank. There are many ranks, but the top 5 ranks starting with the lowest are Emrald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger.
Leaue of Legends also has five different roles to choose from. Which are Top Lane, Mid Lane, Attack Damage Carry, Jungler, and Support. You can choose the best Role the fits you to help your teammates. Below is a picture showing the top 5 ranks and shows the different roles I talked about as well:
