About
My name is Haylan and I am 33 years old. I love playing games of all kinds (board, video and tabletop). I also love to read and watch movies. My favorite genres are fantasy, sci-fi and horror. I have two cats — Archibald (also known as Archie or "Little Man", despite being 15 pounds) and Tabitha (who is tiny but loves to screech like a Nazgûl). I want to learn how to sew, but find the whole thing rather intimidating. It is my goal to make my own Halloween costume this year!
Education
I am pursuing an Application Development AAS-T at North Seattle College. My ultimate goal is to get a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I am not sure exactly what I will do after I graduate, but I would love to continue my studies and get a master's degree abroad. It is hard to imagine what kind of career I will eventually have, as I have just started my third quarter and I still have so much to learn. I'm looking forward to finding out which aspects of Computer Science I will excel at and be the most passionate about. So far, I have really enjoyed learning Javascript and I am excited to be back in Visual Studio for this class!
