Hello! My name is Alexis Krueger and I am Running Start student and a senior at Ingraham High School. I am taking this class because I am interested in pursing a career that has to do with programming, specifically the front-end/design aspect. This past summer I interned with T-Mobile and got to create a website of data for the T-Mobile for Business people. That has only reaffirmed my interest in this field. Although, I am also interested in American Sign Language, so maybe I will pursue something related to accessability for Deaf people. This summer I am excited to be returning to T-Mobile and next school year, I will be completing a certificate to be a full-stack developer.
My hobbies include piano, reading, and listening to music. I have been playing piano for 8 years and am currently playing songs from the Addams Family and Corpse Bride. I like reading older books and the dystopian genre. My favorite book series is Six of Crows. I am currently reading Song of Achilles, Picture of Dorian Gray, and If We Were Villains. My music taste varies a lot, but the main genres I enjoy are rock, alternative, and jazz. The artists I listen to the most are Cranberries, Phoebe Bridgers, U2, and Laufey. I like to constantly expand my music knowledge and get into other musical artists. When I got a tape player and a bunch of tapes from my great-grandma a couple months ago, most of the tapes were instrumental jazz and it had inspired me to look more into the artists on those tapes. Lastly, my favorite songs of all time are You Never Can Tell by Chuck Berry, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For by U2, and Hotel California by Eagles.
